My name is Shayla and I started biblioqueen to express myself. I consume mass amounts of culture in the form of books, art, movies, and music and needed a place to store all of my thoughts and feelings surrounding these works.

Biblioqueen is a place for me to document all of the connections that shape my outlook on the world and give me purpose. When I am feeling down or alone, I know I can always turn to creatives for inspiration and fulfillment. I want someone to be able to turn to my work for those same feelings.

I try to remain open-minded, curious, and interested. There is never a dull moment in my mind but I have the habit of keeping all the good thoughts to myself. I want to get better at sharing and this is my attempt at that.
